KWACS – Open-to-all meeting – 11th April, 7pm

Dear KWACS Members and Friends

We are having an open-to-all meeting at the Oxford Arms to discuss KWACS’ wildlife conservation work from 7pm on Tuesday April 11th.  ALL are very welcome.  We will be talking about and looking for ideas / feedback on anything to do with wildlife conservation, including:

  • the quarry
  • the pond
  • Kirtlington Hedgehog Street
  • the churchyard

Topics will include – should the village do a management plan for the quarry and should we have litter picking parties?  As regards the pond, we can explain what all the recent activity is for and how we hope to bring wildlife back to the pond, despite the pollution run off from the road.  On hedgehogs, we can discuss where to next roll out Hedgehog Street.  Our work in the churchyard normally goes pretty well but this year we will have to help areas recover from damage due to the current building works and we can talk about that.
